On Tuesday evenings during the summer semester, Johannes R., Thorben, and Dominique invite you to dive into the world of prominent British writers and join in lively discussions.
The focus is on the Inklings – a legendary reading and debating group centered around the Oxford scholars C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.
What connected them? Beyond friendship, it was a passion for creative writing and a desire to explore Christian faith in new and exciting ways – a perspective they shared with the crime writer and translator Dorothy L. Sayers.
In the spirit of this tradition, on Tuesday evenings we read:
- Lewis’ fantasy story "The Great Divorce"
- a short story by Tolkien
- a crime story by Dorothy L. Sayers
Be inspired, join the discussion, and discover firsthand the connection between faith, imagination, and literary creativity!
When? Every Tuesday from 21 April 2026, 7.30 – 9.00 pm
Where? KHG, Berrenrather Str. 127, 50937 Köln
