Am 2. November sind 180 Gäste bei uns in die Museumsnacht gestartet. Insgesamt 350 Besucher*innen haben die Ausstellung „Interference“ in der KHG Kirche gesehen.
Wir danken der Museumsnacht, die uns im ersten Jahr direkt als Highlight in ihr Programm aufgenommen hat.
Wir danken allen Helfer*innen, die unermüdlich im Einsatz waren und das Event ermöglicht haben.
Ganz besonderen Dank gilt den drei Künstler*innen Ruben Tsangaris, Anna Balthasar und Michelle Bocker, die mit Ihrer Licht- und Soundinstallation „Interference“ die KHG Kirche wahrhaftig in ein begehbares Kunstwerk verwandelt haben.
Kunst macht sichtbar, gibt Emotionen Raum, öffnet unsere Sinne für die Schönheit und das Transzendente und stärkt Gemeinschaft. Damit ist Sie ganz wesentlicher Teil unseres Menschseins.

Jubilee of the youth
From 30th July to 6th August 2025 in Rome.
‘I invite all the young people of the world to Rome in 2025 to celebrate the Jubilee of Youth together,’ were the words with which the Holy Father surprised the 1.5 million young people and young adults at the sending-out Mass for World Youth Day in Lisbon.
Pilgrimage to Rome for the Holy Year by bus, train, bike or on foot.

Experience a week in the Taizé Communauté. With prayer, silence, nature and community.
The programme is aimed at teenagers and young adults of all religious beliefs between the ages of 15 and 27.
Persons aged 28 and over can joinl if it is foreseeable that there are still places available on the bus and will initially be placed on the waiting list.

Are you looking for a cool way to balance your day-to-day studies that keeps you fit and in a good mood? Then line dancing is just your thing - and no, it's not just country and cowboy hats!
This class is not about classic dancing, but a workout with beats that will get you moving. We dance to current hits, Latin American rhythms and real music classics - and the whole thing in rows, together in a group. No partner necessary!
With simple to more complex step sequences that are repeated, you will train your stamina, coordination and flexibility - on up to four sides of the room (walls). Whether you're a complete beginner or already have dance experience: The moves can be easily adapted to your level.
The best thing is that it's not about perfection, but about fun, music and movement - without any pressure to perform. Come along, dance yourself free and get your circulation going!

With the Open Mic Evening, we want to offer a recurring platform where students from Cologne's universities and young local artists can present their creative exploration of topics relating to individual, social and ecological well-being.
The stage for this is provided by our modern, sculptural St John XXIII Church, where participants can express their creativity and explore themes of wellbeing. A great opportunity to socialise with like-minded people, share your artistic talents and inspire each other.

We would like to cordially invite you to the film screening in the KHG church, where parts of the film were shot. This will be followed by a talk with the Cologne-based film production company augenschein and the theologian Prof. Dr. Dr. Jochen Sautermeister, during which we will learn more about the filming and development of the project and delve deeper into the topic. The talk will be held in German.
